Our Engineering Workflow
We follow a structured mold design workflow that moves from initial part analysis to final design validation. This process helps reduce manufacturing risks and ensures the mold performs reliably in mass production.
1. Project Input Review
CAD formats (STEP/IGES), resin info, target quantity, tolerances, surface requirements.
2. DFM & Part Feasibility
Draft, undercuts, parting line strategy, ejector layout, ribs/bosses optimization.
3. Mold Concept Development
Tool type, cavity count, gating concept, cooling concept, steel selection direction.
4. Detailed Mold Design
3D assembly + 2D drawings, BOM, standard components, action mechanisms.
5. Design Validation & Freeze
Review meeting, revision list, final approval, manufacturing release package.
